Abstract
U ovom radu obrađena je analiza turbulentnog strujanja zraka oko aerodinamičnog profila krila jedrilice numeričkom simulacijom pomoću dva neovisna računalna programa. Dobiveni rezultati su uspoređeni kako bi se validirala kvaliteta korištenih aplikacija. Opisana je priroda laminarnog, turbulentnog i prijelaznog strujanja i matematički izrazi koji u potpunosti opisuju strujanje fluida. U svrhu pojednostavljenja jednadžbi, uvezene su pretpostavke i modeli turbulencije. Za potrebe numeričke simulacije metodom kontrolnih volumena objašnjena je diskretizacija prostora, numeričke sheme i rubni uvjeti. Modeli koji su korišteni u izradi ovog rada su modeli viskoznog, trodimenzijskog i dvodimenzijskog turbulentnog strujanja nestlačivog fluida. Proračun aerodinamičnog profila napravljen je RDF simulacijom u programskim paketima Ansys i SimScale te je baziran na modelu aerodinamčnog profila tipa NACA 64(3)-618. Geometrija profila izrađena je u programskom paketu Solidworks za obje numeričke analize te su Mesh, RDF i postprocesiranje napravljeni posebno u Ansys Workbenchu i SimScale-u. Za diskretizaciju domene korišteni su pravokutni elementi te elementi tetraedra. Korišteni model turbulencije je kε. Brzina vjetra na ulazu je konstantna. Ukratko je prikazana problematika konvergencije elemenata. Test konvergencije mreže konačnih volumena koji se upotrebljavaju pri diskretizaciji aeroprofila, proveden je u oba programska paketa. Proračun je također proveden s pet različitih brzina strujanja zraka na aerodinamički profil. Kao rješenja, prikazana su polja tlaka, brzina, kao i polja kinetičke energije turbulencije koja se javljaju oko aerodinamičnog profila u struji fluida. Konačni rezultati iz SimScale analize uspoređeni su i validirani s rezultatima iz Ansysa.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with analysis of turbulent airflow around the aerodynamic profile of glider wing by numerical simulation using two independent computer programs which results are compared to validate the quality of the used CFD programs. In this paper we briefly describe the nature of the laminar, turbulent and transient flow and mathematical expressions that completely describe fluid flow. For the purpose of simplifying the equations, assumptions and models of turbulence were imported. For the purpose of numerical simulation with control volume method, space discretization, numerical scheme and boundary conditions are explained. The airfoil calculation was made using CFD simulator in the Ansys and SimScale software packages and it is based on the NACA 64(3)-618 aerodynamic profile. The profile geometry was created in Solidworks for both numerical analysis. Mesh, CFD and postprocessing were created in Ansys and SimScale separately. For the discretization of the domain, we used tetrahedron elements. The model of used turbulent simulation was 2D and 3D, viscous, turbulent, transient simulation. The turbulence model used was k-ε. The wind speed of the velocity input was constant. The problem of convergence of elements was also briefly presented. The test for the convergence of the finite volumes mesh used in the airfoil discretization was carried out in both softwares. The calculation was also carried out with five different airflow velocity rates. Results include, pressure, velocity, and turbulence kinetic energy fields that occur around the airfoil in the fluid stream. The final results from SimScale were compared and validated with the results from the Ansys analysis.
