Abstract
Postoji sve veća i jasnija potreba za električnom energijom koja će dolaziti iz pouzdanog, neprekidnog i neovisnog izvora. Obzirom da fosilna goriva postaju sve skuplja i da će uskoro zalihe biti kritične, ne ostane puno izbora za odabir pravog izvora energije. Obnovljivi izvori energije zasad nisu dovoljno razvijeni ni dostatni da se opskrbljuju cijele zemlje, stoga jedini izvor koji nam preostaje su nuklearne elektrane. Radi svog specifičnog načina dobivanja energije, opasnosti koje predstavljaju u slučaju katastrofe, poduzimaju se rigorozne mjere za testiranje, ispitivanje i evaluaciju takvih slučajeva. Jedno od tih ispitivanje je i uporaba ECC sustava prilikom LOCA događaja. Naravno, modelska ispitivanja se odrađuju u ROCOMu a za da bi taj proces pojednostavili, pojeftiniji i u krajnjem slučaju poboljšali, koristimo CFD simulacije. Da bi dobili točne rezultate trebamo i pouzdane, validirane CFD kodove koji će nam sa određenom sigurnošću dati točan rezultat. Naglasak se stavlja na optimalnu izradu numeričke mreže koja je u ovom slučaju strukturirana mreža, odabir pravog turbulentnog modela, početnih i rubnih uvjeta kako bi ti rezultati bili što realniji. Obzirom da sama simulacija nije prezahtjevna, turbulentni modeli su dali skoro identične rezultate. Rezultatima se vizualno mogu odlično prikazati stvari koje ne vidimo u stvarnosti, poput ponašanja fluida prilikom mješanja, gdje dolazi do povećanih temperatura, na kojim mjestima i pri kojim brzinama dolazi do vrtloženja. CFD ima velik potencijal za predviđanje ponašanje fluida ali je i dalje potreban velik razvoj i dublje razumijevanje da bi se mogli iskoristiti na pravi način.
Abstract (english)
There is an increasing and clearer need for electricity that will come from a reliable, uninterrupted and independent source. Since fossil fuels are becoming more and more expensive and that soon the stock will be critical, there isn’t many options to choose the right source of energy. Renewable energy sources are not yet sufficiently developed or sufficient enough to supply the entire country, so the only source we have are nuclear power plants. Because of its specific way of delivering electric energy and risk of disaster, rigorous measures for testing and evaluating such cases are being undertaken. Of course, model tests are done in ROCOM, and to make this process simpler, cheaper and ultimately improved, we use CFD simulations. To get accurate results we also need reliable, valid CFD codes that will give us the exact result with certain accuracy. to make these results as realistic as possibleEmphasis is placed on the optimum creation of the numeric network, the choice of right turbulent model, initial and boundary conditions. The results can visually display the things we do not see in reality, such as fluid behavior when mixing, where temperatures increases and where it drops, where and at which speeds fluid swirls. CFD has a great potential for predicting fluid behavior, but it still needs great development and deeper understanding to be able to use it in the right way.
