The first step of power supply design was based on setting requirements, preparation of ideal solution, modularization and dividing the entire power supply into three main function blocks and these blocks are: rectifier module, control module and regulation module that resulted in considerable simplification of designing process. The designing process of first module called rectifier module consisted of block diagram preparation, choosing electronic components, electrical simulation and finally printed circuit board design. Next step was designing control module and user interface, along with designing printed circuit board for the same module. Final step in the power suplly designing process was regulation module that was started from simplified block diagram and designing all fixed channels. Desgin of regulated and adjustable channel began with chosing of main regulator and gradually adding needed components in order to expand circuit unit and by doing so all of the desired functions of regulation, measurements and protection were met. After designing process was finished the modules of the power supply were made using foto etch method that is used for creating printed circuit boards and the procedure of creating a power supply which consists of exposing, developing, etching, painting, soldering and assembling the product is thoroughly documented.
