Abstract
Balasni i protunagibni sustavi se koriste na brodu u svrhu osiguranja i postizanja stabiliteta. Ovaj uvjet je nužan zbog ugodne plovidbe kako za posadu tako i za putnike te sigurnosti tereta i efikasan rad u luci. Do sada su razvijene razne vrste tehnologija kojima se ovo može postići. Ovisno o tome je li za stabilizaciju potrebna dodatna energija ili ne, dijele se na pasivne i aktivne sustave. U ovome radu pružen je pregleda svih vrsta odnosno tehnologija koje se koriste u ovu svrhu . Da bi lakše razumijeli važnost stabilizatora, treba razumijeti njihanja broda, a posebice treba posvetiti pažnju rotacijskom gibanju u smjeru osi x – ljuljanju. Budući da ljuljanje može značajno narušiti stabilitet, svi do sada sustavi stabilizacije upravo su stvoreni kako bi prigušili njegovo djelovanje. Ovisno o kojem tipu broda ovisiti će i vrsta stabilizatora koji se na njega ugrađuje. Osim toga prikazan je i kratki pregled povijesti razvitka ovih sustava te utjecaja balasta na okoliš
Abstract (english)
Ballast and anti-heeling systems are used on board to ensure and achieve stability. This requirement is necessary for comfortable navigation for both crew and passengers, as well as cargo security and efficient port operation. So far, various types of technologies have been developed to achieve this. Depending on whether or not additional energy is required for stabilization, they are divided into passive and active systems. This paper provides an overview of all types and technologies used for this purpose. In order to understand the importance of the stabilizer, it is necessary to understand the oscillations of the ship, and in particular to pay attention to the rotational motion in the x-axis. Since rolling can significantly impair stability, all stabilization systems so far have just been created to dampen its operation. Depending on the stabilizer to be fitted it will depend the type of the ship. In addition, a brief overview of the history of the development of these systems and the impact of ballast on the environment is presented.
