Abstract
U ovome radu opisan je postupak normalizacije hrvatskog teksta u svrhu sinteze govora uz razvoj programskog rješenja u obliku skripte u programskog jeziku Python. Prvi dio rada opisuje cjelokupni proces sustava pretvorbe teksta u govor koja se sastoji od normalizacije teksta, grafemsko fonemske pretvorbe i generiranja valnog oblika te njenu značajnu primjenu. Zatim slijedi opis implementacije algoritama za proširivanje nestandardnih riječi hrvatskog jezika kao što su brojevi, datumi, akronimi i kratice u njihov prošireni, normalizirani oblik. Objašnjene su dodatne funkcionalnosti razvijenog programa i nastali problemi u implementaciji. Navedeni su primjeri normaliziranih tekstova kao rješenja razvijenog programa.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the process of normalization of the Croatian text for speech synthesis with the development of a script-based software solution in the Python programming language. The first part of the paper describes the overall process of a text-to-speech system consisting of text normalization, grapheme phonemic transformation and waveform generation, and its significant application. The description of the implementation of algorithms for extending non-standard Croatian words such as numbers, dates, acronyms and abbreviations to their extended, normalized form follows. Additional functionalities of the developed program and problems encountered in implementation are explained. Examples of normalized texts are given as solutions of the developed program.
