Abstract
Tema završnog rada su protupožarni sustavi na brodu te proračun sustava gašenja požara vodom na brodu „The Prospector“. U teorijskom djelu rada opisani su sredstva i sustavi za gašenje požara na brodu te navedeni zahtjevi koje protupožarni sustavi moraju zadovoljiti. U praktičnom djelu rada opisan je proračun sustava gašenja požara vodom te odabrana oprema koja omogućuje pravilan rad sustava.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final thesis are fire systems on board and the calculation of the fire extinguishing system on board on the ship "The Prospector". The theoretical part of the thesis describes the instruments and systems for extinguishing a fire on board and specifies the requirements that firefighting systems must satisfy. The practical part of the thesis describes the calculation of the fire extinguishing system and the equipment that enables the system to function properly.
