Abstract
Sukladno trendu pada naftne industrije, te samim time smanjenja proizvodnje u posljednjih nekoliko godina na tržištu se pojavio veliki broj neutiliziranih brodova za opskrbu platformi. Kao rješenje problema utilizacije ovakvih brodova ovim radom je dano idejno rješenje prenamijene u brod specijalne namjene tipa jaružalo s ubrizgavanjem vode u sediment morskog ili riječnog dna. Idejnim rješenjem detaljno su opisane faze preinake, te je izvršen prikaz postojećeg, te budućeg stanja sa posebnim osvrtom na ugrađene strojeve i uređaje, te je obrađena kompleksna problematika izbora sastavnih dijelova jaružala s obzirom na materijale, te funkcionalna, tehnička i prostorna ograničenja koja se nametnuta izborom postojećeg plovila pogodnog za preinaku. Ekonomskom analizom prenamijene ovog plovila zaključeno je da su kapitalna ulaganja kod prenamjene manja u odnosu na novogradnju istog tipa plovila. Uz ekonomski aspekt preinake objašnjen je i principa rada jaružala s ubrizgavanjem vode u sediment morskog ili riječnog dna, sa osvrtom na objašnjenje radnih uvjeta koje je potrebno ispuniti kako bi ova metoda jaružanja polučila željene rezultate jaružanja.
Abstract (english)
In the wake of the well documented downturn in the oil and gas markets in recent years, an increasing number of platform supply vessels (PSVs) are currently underutillised. The objective of this thesis is to propose possible solutions for utillization problem. The proposed solution is converting PSVs into water injection dredgers (WIDs). Thesis defines phases of conversion, and describes the donor, and future vessel along with installed equipment focusing on practicalities of conversion from a shipyard perspective, taking account of the technical implication of the selection of main components with regards to materials, functional and space limitations imposed by the donor vessel. Economic analysis suggests that PSV/WID conversion is a financially viable option, and such vessels should be competitive in the current dredging market. Water injection dredging has very specific limitations, but in the appropriate situation, it also has very specific benefits. To effectively plan and execute a dredging operation, extensive knowledge of the material to be dredged is needed in order to achieve wanted results.
