Abstract
Ovaj rad se u osnovi bavi opisivanjem metalnih materijala i njihovih karakteristika. Opisana je metalna veza atoma u kristalnoj rešetki metala, vrste kristalnih struktura metalnih materijala kao i njihove nesavršenosti. Nadalje, pored nabrojanih svojstava metala, detaljnije su obrađena mehanička, električna i toplinska svojstva. Objašnjeni su načini i vrste ispitivanja mehaničkih svojstava metalnih materijala. Pored navedene klasifikacije tehničkih materijala na metale, keramiku, polimere i kompozitne materijale, izvršena je usporedba svojstava metalnih sa drugim tehničkim materijalima. Nakon usporedbe svojstava, dolazi se do zaključka da metalni materijali imaju bolja mehanička, električna i toplinska svojstva te zauzimaju veoma važno mjesto među ostalim tehničkim materijalima.
Abstract (english)
This paper basically deals with describing metallic materials and their characteristics. The metal bond of atoms in the crystal lattice of metals, types of crystal structures of metallic materials as well as their imperfections are described. Furthermore, in addition to the listed properties of metals, mechanical, electrical and thermal properties are treated in more detail. Methods and types of testing the mechanical properties of metallic materials are explained. In addition to the above classification of technical materials into metals, ceramics, polymers and composite materials, a comparison of the properties of metals with other technical materials was performed. After comparing the properties, it is concluded that metallic materials have better mechanical, electrical and thermal properties and occupy a very important place among other technical materials
