Abstract
Simulacija tkanine predstavlja simulaciju dinamičkog procesa savijanja tkanine pod utjecajem gravitacije i ostalih sila. Za simulaciju tkanine postoje različiti modeli prikaza tkanine, a za ovaj rad odabran je model čestica i opruga zbog jednostavni i djelotvornosti. Analiziran je utjecaj diskretizacije i fizikalnih osobina simuliranog objekta na konačne rezultate simulacije. Takoder su implementirani sudari tkanine s kuglom i kockom te su analizirani njihove problemi. Sama simulacija prikazna je pomoću OpenGL knjižnice.
Abstract (english)
Cloth simulation represents simulation of a dynamic process of bending and shearing of a cloth object under different external forces. There are various models for representing simulated cloth. For this thesis, we have chosen massspring model for its simplicity and effectiveness. We have analyzed the impact of discretization and physical characteristics of a cloth object on final simulation result. We have also implemented collisions with different objects like sphere and cube. Pros and cons of various techniques are discussed. For displaying simulation OpenGL library was used.
