Abstract
Obrađena je tema geotermalne energije, potencijala geotermalne energije te načina korištenja geotermalne energije u svijetu i Hrvatskoj. Nabrojane su i objašnjene tehnologije za iskorištavanje geotermalne energije. Objašnjen je princip rada organskog Rankineovog procesa sa svim njegovim komponentama. Također, dana je podjela korištenih radnih fluida u ORC procesima, kao i izbor radnih fluida te njihov utjecaj na okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. Nadalje je dana termodinamička analiza komponenata i analiza iskoristivosti procesa. Napravljen je termodinamički proračun geotermalne elektrane koja koristi srednje-temperaturno ležište za pogon aksijalne turbine u Rankineovom procesu s izobutanom, kao radnom organskom tvari te su prikazani podaci proračuna
Abstract (english)
The topic of discussion is geothermal energy, the potential of geothermal energy and the use of geothermal energy in the world and in Croatia. Geothermal energy utilization technologies are listed and explained. The principle of the organic Rankine process with all its components is explained. Also, the categories of working fluids used in ORC processes are presented, as well as the choice of working fluids and their impact on the environment and human health. Furthermore, thermodynamic component analysis and process utilization analysis are given. A thermodynamic analysis of a geothermal power plant was carried for a medium-temperature geothermal source and an organic Rankine's process with isobutane, as the working source, and the calculation results are presented.
