Abstract
Zadatak završnog rada bilo je izmjeriti protok otvorenog vodotoka pomoću radarskog uređaja. Da bi dobili protok bilo je potrebno saznati površinu poprečnog presjeka i srednju brzinu fluida. Pošto uređaj mjeri samo površinsku brzinu fluida bilo je potrebno doći do svih faktora pomoću kojih možemo odredit srednju brzinu. Poprečni presjek smo izračunali množenjem dubine koju smo izmjerili na više točaka te smo izračunali aritmetičku sredinu te širine koju smo izmjerili preko google karte. Pošto smo znali da je stvari protok iznosio 280,2 m3/s mogli smo usporedit naš dobiveni protok i odredit točnost mjerenja. Naš izračunati protok rijeke Kupe iznosio je 294,84 m3/s, razlika iznosi 5%. Zadovoljni smo s rezultatom jer je bilo puno pretpostavki i aproksimacija i bilo je realno očekivati ovakvu razliku.
Abstract (english)
The task of the final work was to determined the flow of the open watercourse using a radar device. To obtain the flow it was necessary to find out the cross-sectional area and the fluid velocity. Since the device measured only the surface velocity of the fluid, it was necessary to learn all the factors by which we can assign the velocity. We calculated the cross-section by multiplying the depth, which we measure at several points, and calculated the arithmetic mean with the width determined via google map. Since we knew that the flow rate was 280.2 m3 / s, we were able to compare our obtained flow and determine the accuracy of the measurement. Our calculated flow of the Kupa river is 294.84 m3 / s, the difference is 5%. We are happy with the results because there are a lot of assumptions and approximations and it was to expect this difference.
