Abstract
Ovaj radi bavi se problemom modeliranja kose unutar dinamične računalne simulacije. Uz kratku usporedbu nekoliko različitih modela kose predstavljenih kroz povijest, opširno se bavi FTL modelom uz kratki osvrt na modeliranje dinamike u stilu PBD-a i tehnike odgovora na kolizije. Uz samu dinamiku vlasi rad pokriva i način iscrtavanja kose, kao i opširniji opis Kajiya-Kay modela osvjeljenja individualnih vlasi. Na kraju su opisani implementacijski detalji sa naglaskom na računske shadere, prestavaljeni rezultati simulacije i objavljena poveznica na GitHub repozitorij sa javnom dostupnim izvornim programskim kodom napisanom u programskom jeziku C++ uz korištenje OpenGL aplikacijskog programskog sučelja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis is covering problems of hair modelling in dynamic computer simulations. Along short comparison of hair models presented throughout history, it is extensively describing FTL model with short review of modelling dynamics in PBD style and collision response techniques. Along hair dynamics, this paper covers hair rendering as well as Kajiya and Kay illumination model for individual strands. At the end, it describes implementation details with focus on compute shaders, presents simulation results and publishes a link to GitHub repository with publicly available source code written in C++ programming language along with OpenGL application programming interface.
