Abstract
U ovome radu provedena je analiza strujanja fluida u Francisovoj turbini hidroelektrane Orlovac. Analiza je napravljena pri 7 različitih protoka i 5 položaja zakrenutosti privodećih lopatica. Na početku, dan je pregled karakteristika vodnih turbina s naglaskom na Francisovu turbinu. Opisan je i hidroenergetski sustav Orlovac, čija je turbina korištena pri analizi. Zatim je napravljen kratak pregled računalne dinamike fluida, kao područja iznimno značajnoga za analize rada vodnih turbina. Izlaganje praktičnoga dijela rada započinje opisom postupka pretvorbe nacrtne dokumentacije u trodimenzionalni model domene korištene za analizu strujanja. Nastavlja se na proces izrade strukturirane i nestrukturirane numeričke mreže. Potom je opisan rad u procesoru numeričke analize. Na kraju su izloženi i prokomentirani rezultati analize.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, fluid flow analysis of a Francis turbine of the hydroelectric power plant Orlovac has been conducted. Analysis has been performed with 7 different flows and 5 positions of rotation of guide vanes. At the beginning, summary of the characteristics of the water turbines has been given. Also, the hydro energy system Orlovac, of which turbine has been used for analysis, has been described. Afterwards, a short summary of computational fluid dynamics, a field which is immensely important for analyses of the water turbine operation, has been given. Exposition of the practical part begins with the description of the process in which the technical documentation was converted into three-dimensional model of the domain used for flow analysis. The description continues with the process of making the structured and unstructured mesh. Thence, the work in numerical analysis processor has been explained. At the end, the results have been shown and discussed.
