Abstract
U završnom radu opisan je termodinamički kružni proces i način dobivanja rada pretvorbom toplinske energije u mehaničku. Objašnjeni su elementarni kružni procesi i od njih najvažniji, Carnotov kružni proces. Objašnjene su faze Ottovog i Dieselovog kružnog procesa i njihova primjena u motorima s unutarnjim izgaranjem, te njihove razlike između idealnog i realnog procesa. Izrađeni su proračuni karakterističnih termodinamičkih veličina za Ottov i Dieselov proces. Zaključno, analizirani su utjecaji kompresijskog omjera i najvećeg postignutog tlaka na postignuti rad i toplinski stupanj djelovanja.
Abstract (english)
This undergraduate paper describes the thermodynamic circular process and the method of obtaining work by converting thermal energy into mechanical energy. Elementary processes and the most important of them, the Carnot process, have been explained. The phases of Otto's and Diesel's cycles and their application in internal combustion engines have been explained, as well as their differences between ideal and real processes. Calculations of characteristic thermodynamic variables for the Otto and Diesel processes have been carried out. In conclusion, the effects of the compression ratio and the highest achieved pressure on the achieved work and the thermal efficiency have been analyzed.
