Abstract
U ovom radu provedeno je istraživanje dinamike kretanja mikroplastike kroz laminarni tok vode u otvorenom kanalu. Početak rada utemeljen je na teorijskim saznanjima o mikroplastici. Nakon toga opisan je numerički model implementiran u Pythonu i uspostavio se numerički model unutar OpenFOAMa. OpenFOAM analize provedene su na superračunalu BURA i prikazana je usporedba Python i OpenFOAM numeričke analize. Rezultati modela potvrdili su odstupanja u vjerojatnosti taloženja čestica mikroplastike s obzirom na njihov indeks sferičnosti i naglašena je vjerojatnost da čestice manje od 0,5mm bez obzira na indeks sferičnosti, teško dostižu dno domene.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the dynamics of the movement of microplastics through the laminar flow of water in an open channel was investigated. The beginning of the work is based on theoretical knowledge about microplastics. After that, the numerical model implemented in Python was described and the numerical model within OpenFOAM was established. The OpenFOAM analyzes were performed on the BURA supercomputer and a comparison of the Python and OpenFOAM numerical analyzes is presented. The results of the model confirmed deviations in the probability of settling of microplastic particles with regard to their sphericity index, and the probability that particles smaller than 0,5mm, regardless of the sphericity index, hardly reach the bottom of the domain was emphasized.
