Abstract
U uvodnom dijelu prvo je opisan čelik te njegove karakteristike i svojstva kako bi bili što bolje upoznati sa samim materijalom. Nakon toga slijede fazne pretvorbe u čeliku koje su detaljno opisane i obrazloženje zbog čega su važni TTT dijagrami. Najveća pažnja bila je usmjerena na postupak poboljšavanja koji se sastoji od dvije glavne toplinske obrade, a to su kaljenje i popuštanje. Potom slijedi eksperimentalni dio gdje je zadani čelik C45E bio podvrgnut procesu poboljšavanja. Cilj eksperimenta je bio postizanje određene tvrdoće koju je konstruktor zadao na strojnom dijelu BT.23-DT.37. Na samom kraju obavljena je analiza i provjera dobivenih rezultata s obzirom na zadane zahtjeve.
Abstract (english)
In the introductory section, steel and its characteristics and properties are first described in order to become better acquainted with the material itself. Following that, the phase transformations in steel are detailed, along with an explanation of why TTT diagrams are important. The greatest attention was focused on the improvement process, which consists of two main heat treatments: quenching and tempering. Then comes the experimental section where the specified steel C45E underwent the improvement process. The aim of the experiment was to achieve a certain hardness specified by the constructor in the machine part BT.23-DT.37. Finally, an analysis and verification of the obtained results were carried out with respect to the specified requirements.
