Abstract
U ovome radu ukratko je opisana povijest, koncept te primjena hidroelektrana u suvremenom svijetu. Opisana je geometrija, utjecajni parametri te princip rada Savonius turbine. Izrađena je 2D geometrija tubine za tri različita tipa lopatica turbine te nakon generiranja numeričke mreže provedena je simulacija nestacionarnog strujanja izrađenih geometrija za različite stupnjeve zakreta turbine. Prikazane su konture tlakova i vektori brzina za promatrane slučajeve te su dobivene vrijednosti uspoređene sa referentnim vrijednostima iz stručne literature.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the history, concept, and application of hydroelectric power plants in the modern world are briefly described. The geometry, influential parameters, and working principle of the Savonius turbine, which is the focal point of this paper, are described. A 2D geometry of three different types of turbine blades was created, and after generating the numerical mesh, a simulation of unsteady flow of the created geometries for different turbine rotation angles was carried out. The obtained results, pressure contours, and velocity vectors are presented in the conclusion, and the values are compared with the reference values from the professional literature.
