Abstract
Pripravni radovi su vrlo važni prje početka stomatološke terapije, kako bi se dobio uvid u pacijentovo stanje. Pacijentove želje i obavljeni pripravni radovi te terapeutova indikacija nastoje se objediniti. Ovisno o biološkim temeljima, stanju parodonta i poziciji preostalih zuba u maksili i mandibuli te na temelju studijskih modela izrađuje se plan terapije. Za adekvatno održavanje oralne higijene bitna je konstrukcija protetskog nadomjestka kao i odabir pravilnog materijala. Pacijenta educiramo o načinju provođenja oralne higijene (četkice-masaža desni, dentalni konac dentalna drvca, vodeni tuševi) i motivirati ga za njeno provođenje. Pacijent mora biti upoznat da predajom protetskog rada rizici ne prestaju te se mora javljati svakih šest mjeseci na kontrolni pregled (re-call).
Abstract (english)
Preparatory actions are of major importance before commencing therapy and they give relevant insight into the patient’s condition. One must strive to unite the patient’s wishes, the exerted preparatory actions as as well as the therapist’s indication. A therapy plan is made depending on biological predispositions, the state of the pariodontal tissue, the position of the remaining teeth in the maxilla and the mandible and with the help of the cast model. Choosing the appropriate material as well as the construction of the prosthetic piece is relevant for the adequate oral hygiene maintenance. The patients need to be educated on the ways of maintaining oral hygiene (toothbrushes – massaging the periodontal tissue, dental floss, dental sticks, water showers) and motivate them for its implementation. The patients need to acknowledge the fact that by being given the prosthetic piece the risks do not cease and that they must come in for a re-call every six months.
