Abstract
Podizanje dna maksilarnog sinusa (sinus lift) oralnokirurški je zahvat koji se provodi u svrhu augmentacije resorbiranog alveolarnog grebena kako bi se stvorilo dovoljno mjesta za ugradnju dentalnog implantata. Postoji nekoliko tehnika pomoću kojih se ovaj zahvat izvodi. Konvencionalne su tehnike tehnika lateralnog prozora i transkrestalni pristup, a alternativne tehnike jesu one osnovane na hidrauličkom tlaku i balonska tehnika. U nekim slučajevima zahvat se može i izbjeći postavom kratkih implantata.
Abstract (english)
Sinus floor elevation (sinus lift) is an oral surgical procedure performed to augment the resorbed alveolar ridge to create sufficient space for dental implant placement. There are several techniques by which this procedure is performed. Conventional techniques include the lateral window technique and the transcrestal approach, while alternative techniques involve hydraulic pressure-based methods and the balloon technique. In some cases the procedure can be avoided by placing short implants.
