Svi oni imaju svoje prednosti i mane.
Abstract (english) Three-dimensional (3D) printing is an additive method which builds objects by layering the material. The information about the object is sent via software to the printer, which then moves the head of the printer in x and y direction to determine the width and the length of the object and by moving the platform down or up, builds the layer one on top of the other in the direction of the z axis thus producing the height of the object. There are several types of printers which vary according to the way they work. Stereolithography (SLA), Digital Light Processing (DLP), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Selective Laser Melting (SLM), which is considered to be variety of SLS, Thermal Inkjet Printing (TIJ), Powder Binder Printer (PBP), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Photopolymer Jetting (PPJ). They all have certain advantages and disadvantages. Recently, besides polymers and metals, ceramics can be printed as well. 3D printers are increasingly used in dental medicine in various branches, from orthodontics, restorative, surgery and prosthodontics. Indications of 3D printers in prosthodontics are individual impression trays, dental casts, provisorium, mock-up veneers, metal bases for crowns and bridges, construction casting models made of polymer or straight from metal, acrylic prostheses, and splints. The rapid development of 3D technology accelerates and facilitates the work of both the therapist and the patient. Though only starting, 3D printers in dental medicine are increasingly being used. It can be expected that in the near future this additive production process will reach its full potential.
