Abstract
Danas kada smo suočeni s ubrzanim razvojem modernih tehnologija i industrijalizacijom općenito, istodobno se suočavamo s gorućim problemom onečišćenja okoliša, odnosno rastućim problemima narušavanja kvalitete zraka. Onečišćenje okoliša upravo nastaje kada okoliš ne može više akumulirati, obraditi i neutralizirati štetne učinke ljudskog djelovanja, te postaje globalni problem s vidljivim negativnim posljedicama za ljudsko zdravlje i cjelokupni ekosustav te je usko povezan s klimatskim promjenama. Zrak je posebno onečišćen ako sadrži tvari u koncentracijama koje izazivaju štetne posljedice za zdravlje čovjeka, životinja i biljaka te nanosi štetu okolišu i gospodarskim djelatnostima. U ovome radu dan je osvrt osnovnih izvora onečišćenja zraka te je obuhvaćen pregled najnovijih tehnika pročišćavanja zraka za učinkovito smanjenje koncentracije onečišćujućih tvari u zraku.
Abstract (english)
Today, when we are faced with accelerated development of modern technologies and industrialization in general, at the same time we are facing the burning problem of environmental pollution as a growing problem of deteriorating air quality. Environmental pollution occurs when the environment can no longer accumulate, process and neutralize the harmful effects of human activities and it becomes a global problem with visible negative consequences of human health and the entire ecosystem and is closely linked to climate change. Air is particularly polluted if it contains substances in concentrations that cause harmful effects on human, animal and plants or harm the environment and economic activities. This paper reviews the basic sources of air pollution and includes an overview of the latest air purification techniques for effective reduction of pollutant concentration in the air.
