Abstract (english)
Portal of Croatian scientific and professional journals - HRČAK was established in 2006 with the aim of promoting open access and providing technical solution to editors of academic journals for simple publishing in open access. Since 2008, SRCE has offered a maintained instance of the Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-source tool, within the HRČAK service. OJS allows editorial boards to manage the entire editorial process, from manuscript submission and peer review to copyediting and publication. SRCE also provides an option for automated synchronization of papers from OJS to HRČAK. The presentation highlights OJS functionalities focused on the peer review process and concludes with an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of OJS.
