Abstract (english)
The presentation outlines Croatia's strategic efforts to enhance research and open science through robust e-infrastructure initiatives. SRCE, the University of Zagreb University Computing Centre, plays a pivotal role by managing the Croatian scientific and educational cloud (HR-ZOO) and the Croatian Competence Centre for HPC, providing advanced computing resources, including supercomputers like Supek and Vrančić. The HR-OOZ initiative is highlighted as a national framework for open science, integrating existing resources and connecting to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).SRCE also contributes to the research data lifecycle through platforms like DABAR, HRČAK, and PUH, and supports the research community through the SRCE Academy for Scientists, which offers specialized education in advanced research and data processing.
