Abstract
U radu će se analizirati i prikazati rezultati istraživanja strukture i pomlađivanja sastojina hrasta medunca (Quercus pubescens Willd.) u kontinentalnom području rasprostranjenosti na južnim padinama Ravne gore. Na temelju 11 pokusnih ploha, kružnog oblika polumjera 12,62 m, napravljen je pregled strukture sastojina hrasta medunca, a na temelju izvrtaka na dvije manje plohe određena je prosječna starost sastojina. Utvrđeno je pojavljivanje hrasta medunca na gotovo svim tipičnim staništima južnih i jugozapadnih ekspozicija i nadmorskim visinama od 380 do 630 m. Na tim područjima hrast medunac dominantniji je nad ostalim vrstama, koje se pojavljuju pojedinačno i slabe su vitalnosti. Zbog oskudnih životnih uvjeta, hrast medunac ne plodonosi, pa nigdje nije pronađen pomladak.
