Abstract
U završnom radu opisana je povijest uporabe drva i njegove prednosti i mane kao materijala. Objašnjen je pojam ksiloteke drva, povijest kisloteke i njezina primjena. Napravljen je pregled i opis ksiloteke Šumarskoga fakulteta u Zagrebu. Prikazan je način rada ksiloteke i zastupljenost vrsta drva i mikroskopskih preparata po kontinentima. Predložene su smjernice za unaprijeđenje i razvoj ksiloteke u bućnosti
Abstract (english)
The final paper describes the history of wood use and its advantages and disadvantages as a material. The concept of wood x xylotheque, its history and its application are explained. A review and description of the x xylotheque of the Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb was made. The method of operation of the xylotheque and the representation of wood species and microscopic preparations by continents are presented. Guidelines for the promotion and development of xylotheque in the future are proposed.
