Abstract
U diplomskom radu su prikazana svojstva i osobitosti park-šume Japlenški vrh kod Delnica.U park-šumi ukupne površine 160,77 ha imamo 8 odjela od kojih je za 3 odjela u direkciju Hrvatskih šuma u Zagreb poslano rješenje za izdvajanje iz park-šume budući da nemaju funkciju koju bi park-šuma trebala pružati.Najviša točka nalazi se na 842 m.n.v. U park-šumi imamo prirodnu zajednicu bukve i jele (Abieti-Fagetum) gdje u omjeru smjese prevladava jela, a prati je bukva.Primješani su najčešće smreka i gorski javor.Radi se o vrlo dobrom staništu gdje možemo naći mnoge reliktne vrste kao Omphalodes verna ili Lamium orvala i u Hrvatskoj razmjerno rijetku vrstu šumske orhideje puzave oštropelutke (Goodiera repens). Park šuma je iznimno pogodna za rekreaciju budući da je prošarana pješačkim i biciklističkim stazama.Drvna zaliha i godišnji prirast su u usponu što znači da ne postoji strah od propadanja ovih šuma.
