Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je područje Lenuzzijeve potkove u Zagrebu. Istraživanjem su obuhvaćeni sljedeći trgovi: Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog, Trg Josipa Jurja Strossmayera, Trg kralja Tomislava, Trg Ante Starčevića, Trg Marulića, Trg Mažuranića i Trg Republike Hrvatske. Na početku rada prikazan je povijesni pregled nastanka navedenih trgova i njihova obnova kroz povijest. Kroz fotografije, stare razglednice i planove prikazano je stanje trgova u prošlosti i sadašnjosti. U radu su opisanedendrološke karakteristike svojti prisutnih na istraživanom području; habitus, areal, vrijeme cvjetanja, boja cvjetova ukrasnih svojti, trajnost listova te plodovi. Također je analizirana prisutnost svih svojti kroz sve parkove. Determinirane su 94 različite drvenaste biljke, koje su raspoređene u 29 porodica. Najzastupljenija porodica je Rosaceae, zatim slijede Caprifoliaceae, Sapindaceae, Berberidaceae, Pinaceae, Hydrangaceae. 79 % determiniranih svojti je alohtono, a preostalih 21 % su autohtone. Najraširenije suazijske ieuropske svojte, potom američke, maloazijske, afričke te kavkaske. Najzastupljenije boje cvjetova ukrasnih svojti su bijela i žuta. Najveća raznolikost karakterizira Trg Josipa Jurja Strossmayera i Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog, a najmanja Trg Republike Hrvatske i Trg Ante Starčevića. U radu su navedene i vrste koje su se prema popisu mr. sc. Josipa Karavle, bile prisutne 2006. godine u parkovima, a danas izostaju. Nakon toga, dan je opis sadašnjeg stanja prema kojem je dan prijedlog obnove svakog parka. Lenuzzijeva ili zelena potkova predstavlja vrlo bitnu povijesnu, pejzažnu i arhitektonsku vrijednost grada Zagreba.
Abstract (english)
The subject of research in this thesis is the area of Lenuci's Horseshoe in Zagreb. The research covers the following squares: Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square, Josip Juraj Strossmayer Square, King Tomislav Square, Ante Starčević Square, Marko Marulić Square, Mažuranić Square and Republic of Croatia Square. At the beginning of the thesis is an historical overview of the origin of the mentioned squares and their reconstruction throughout history. The condition is shown through photographs, old postcards, and plans in the past and present. Dendrological characteristics of taxa are also described: habitus, distribution range, flowering time, color of flowers of ornamental species, durability of leaves and fruits. The presence of all taxa throughout all parks was analyzed as well. In total 94 different woody plants were determined, which are distributed in 29 families. The most widespread are Asian and European taxa, then American, Asia Minor, African and Caucasian. The most common flower color of ornamental taxa are white and yellow. The greatest diversity of taxa are characterized by Josip Juraj Strossmayer Square and Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square, and the smallest by Republic of Croatia Square and Ante Starčević Square. The thesis also lists the taxa listed by Josip Karavla, which were present in the parks in 2006, but today they are absent. After that, a description of the current state of study area and a proposal for the renovation of each park can be found. Lenuci's or Green Horseshoe represents a very important historical, landscape and architectural value of the city of Zagreb.
