Abstract
Glavni cilj istraživanja je na temelju izabranih geometrijskih, masenih i drugih veličina utvrditi trenutačno stanje, svojstva i zakonitosti, ali i mogući tijek razvoja harvestera. Svrha ovog diplomskog rada je napraviti morfološku analizu različitih tipova harvestera, te usporediti modele harvestera proizvedenih do 2003. godine i nakon 2003. godine i na osnovu rezultata ukazati na posebnosti njihovih značajki, te dati smjernice za budući razvoj harvestera. Na osnovi provedenog istraživanja ističu se slijedeći rezultati: U provedenim analizama izdvajaju se gusjenični harvesteri te ih treba promatrati kao zasebnu skupinu vozila. Zbog negativnog utjecaja mase harvestera na šumsko tlo preporuča se traženje rješenja stabilnosti u drugim morfološkim značajkama. Potrebno je zaustaviti daljnje povećanje mase harvestera. Snagu pogonskog motora potrebno je prilagoditi zahtjevima hidrauličnih komponenti harvestera. Pri konstrukciji harvestera duljina treba biti svedena na minimum. Tehnologija rada harvestera treba biti prilagođena trenutačnim dohvatima hidrauličnih dizalica.
