Abstract
Posljednjih nekoliko godina su na poljskome jasenu u Hrvatskoj i okruženju otkrivene nove vrste gljiva koje uz Hymenoscyphus fraxineus sudjeluju u procesu odumiranja stabala, uzrokujući nekroze drva i kore. Jedna od učestalo izoliranih vrsta iz simptomatičnog tkiva poljskoga jasena u Hrvatskoj je Diplodia fraxini. Cilj ovoga rada je bio utvrditi patogenost nađene gljive inokulacijom u zdrave sadnice poljskoga jasena. Gljiva je u periodu praćenja na svim inokuliranim stablima uzrokovala nastanak nekroza kore i drva te je uspješno re-izolirana iz simptomatičnog tkiva. Dobiveni rezultati potvrđuju patogenost gljive D. fraxini na poljskom jasenu u Hrvatskoj.
