Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se analizom baleta velikog Mariusa Petipe pod nazivom La Bayadère. Balet prati tragični ljubavni trokut u čijem se središtu nalazi bajadera Nikija te sam stoga prvi dio diplomskog posvetila upravo njima. Dio o bajaderama objašnjava njihovu povijest, ulogu i svrhu u životu hrama. Potom prelazimo na dio u kojem istražujem povijest baleta Bajadere i njezin nastanak, objašnjavam radnju te kao primjer dajem po dvije velike strane i hrvatske baletne produkcije. Glavni fokus ovog diplomskog rada je kostimografija, ali sam zbog umjetničkog istraživanja predstave odlučila izraditi skice i za scenografiju kako bih svojim rukopisom stvorila likovno dojmljivu cjelinu. Eksperimentalni dio bavi se vizualnim rješenjima baleta te u tom dijelu prilažem skice kostima i scene te fotografije izrađenog kostima prema odabranoj skici.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis deals with the analysis of the ballet of the great Marius Petipa called La Bayadère. The ballet follows a tragic love triangle in the center of which is bayadere Nikiya, so I dedicated the first part of my thesis to bayaderes. The section on bayaderes explains their history, role, and purpose in the life of the temple. Then we move on to the part where I research the history of La Bayadère's ballet and its origins, explain the plot, and, as an example, give two major foreign and Croatian ballet productions. The main focus of this thesis is costume design, but due to the artistic research of the play, I decided to make sketches for the scenography to create an artistically impressive whole with my handwriting. The experimental part deals with the visual solutions of ballet, and in that part, I enclose sketches of costumes and scenes and photographs of the costume made according to the selected sketch.
