In the world today, we face many environmental problems, especially the pollution of the atmosphere and the planets. We do not have adequate waste management systems because they do not exist. Scientists today are conducting more and more research around natural polymers due to biodegradation and its action with chemical bonds in polymers. After using things that cannot be biodegradable, they are disposed of in landfills or go to the thermal treatment of waste. These methods of waste disposal are dangerous and harmful to humans and the environment. Biodegradation today has an important purpose because it converts materials into water, carbon dioxide and biomass, which means that we do not pollute the environment. In this thesis, a study was conducted on the influence of atmospherics on the biodegradability of cellulose fibers. This research also helps to gain insight into the lifetime of various cellulose fibers (cotton, linen, jute) and viscose fibers. The task of this paper is to examine the influence of atmospherics on the biodegradability of cellulose fibers. For this purpose, textiles of cotton, flax and jute fibers and viscose fibers were chosen as a representative of cellulose regenerates. The samples were subjected to biodegradability under real conditions for a period of 10, 15, 20 and 25 days. The influence of natural climatic conditions, is the influence of atmospherics on biodegradability was assessed by measuring and comparing changes in tensile properties, changes in surface mass and thickness of samples and analysis of textile morphology.
