Abstract
Diplomski rad naziva “Analiza i interpretacija odjevne forme s portreta Katarine de Medici” bavit će se analizom kulture odijevanja područja renesansne Italije i Francuske s početka šesnaestog stoljeća. Rad će biti koncipiran u tri cjeline, pri čemu će prvi dio biti temeljen na teorijskom istraživanju renesansne kulture odijevanja na području Italije i Francuske koncentrirajući se na ženskom odijevanju, utjecaju Katarine de Medici te na kulturu življenja i odijevanja na početku 16. stoljeća središnje Europe. Drugi dio diplomskog rada referirat će se na analizu portreta Katarine de Medici slikara Frans Huysa čija će gravura iz razdoblja 1547-1562. godine poslužiti kao inspiracija za detaljniju analizu odijevanja plemkinja u razdoblju renesanse te biti glavna referenca pri realizaciji praktičnog djela diplomskog rada. Praktični dio diplomskog rada, kao treći segment diplomskog rada prezentirat će cjelokupni kreativni proces realizacije i rekonstrukcije gotovog odjevnog predmeta inspiriranog analiziranim portretom. Praktični dio sadržat će tehnički crtež, s popratnim krojem opisom korištenog materijala te fotografijama realizirane odjevne forme.
Abstract (english)
The graduate thesis entitled "Analysis and interpretation of clothing from the portrait of Catherine de Medici" will analyze clothing culture in Renaissance Italy and France from the beginning of the sixteenth century. The graduate thesis will be conceived in three parts, the first part will be based on theoretical research of Renaissance clothing culture in Italy and France focusing on women's clothing, the influence of Catherine di Medici on the culture of living and clothing in early 16th century Central Europe. The second part of the thesis will refer to the analysis of the portrait of Catherine de Medici by the painter Frans Huys, whose engraving from the period 1547-1562. will serve as an inspiration for a more detailed analysis of the dressing of noblewomen in the Renaissance period and be the main reference in the realization of the practical part of the diploma thesis. The practical part of the thesis, as the third segment, will present the entire creative process of realization and reconstruction of the finished garment inspired by the analyzed portrait. The practical part will contain a technical drawing, along with a description of the used material and photographs of the finalized reinterpretation.
