Abstract
Kroz diplomski rad pod nazivom Aspekti crvene boje u suvremenoj tekstilnoj skulpturi u teoretskom dijelu biti će dat pregled povijesti vezano za razvoj tekstila. Isto tako će biti dan pregled simbolike crvene boje kroz različite kulture i razdoblja, te utjecajem iste na našu percepciju i doživljaj. Predstaviti će se suvremene vizualne i tekstilne umjetnice i umjetnici kojima je crvena boja polazište za umjetničko istraživanje i umjetnički rad. U eksperimentalnom umjetničkom dijelu realizirati će se ciklus plošnih tekstilnih reljefa i tekstilna forma većih dimenzija. Radovi u tekstilu će biti realizirani na višeslojnom principu, naglašenih tekstura različitih oblika i varijacija.
Abstract (english)
Through the thesis titled "Aspects of the Color Red in Contemporary Textile Sculpture," the theoretical part will provide an overview of the history related to the development of textiles. Additionally, it will review the symbolism of the color red across different cultures and periods, and its impact on our perception and experience. Contemporary visual and textile artists who use the color red as a starting point for artistic exploration and work will be presented. In the experimental artistic section, a series of flat textile reliefs and larger textile forms will be created. The textile works will be realized using a multilayered approach, with emphasized textures of various shapes and variations.
