Abstract
Još od svojeg početka u ranim osamdesetim godinama 20. stoljeća, a posebno nakon preporoda početkom devedesetih, black metal se dokazao kao najdosljednije poticanje razmišljanja, stimulirajuće i relevantnije od mnogih drugih izdanaka heavy metala. Njegova kombinacija prvobitnih filozofskih, duhovnih, kulturnih i umjetničkih kvaliteta omogućila je da nadmaši čak i vlastite fascinantne kontroverze te postane jedan od najekstremnijih oblika suvremene glazbe. Cilj ovog rada je pobliže predočiti nastanak i razvoj samog glazbenog pravca kako unutar same glazbe i glazbene scene, tako i utjecaj istog na suvremenu subkulturu i visoku modu. Rad obuhvaća i praktični, kreativni dio u kojem je prikazan utjecaj black metala kao cjelokupne kulture, koja je bila ključna inspiracija za stvaranje vlastite modne kolekcije, odnosno crtačkih, grafičkih prikaza.
Abstract (english)
Ever since its birth in the early eighties, and especially after its rebirth in the early nineties, black metal has proven itself to be the most consistently thought-provoking, exhilarating, and vital of all the many offshoots of heavy metal. Its combination of primal, philosophical, spiritual, cultural, and artistic qualities have allowed it to transcend even its own fascinating controversies to become one of the most extreme forms of contemporary music. The aim of this thesis is to present in more detail the origin and development of the musical direction both within the music itself and the music scene, as well as its influence on contemporary subculture and high fashion. This thesis also includes a practical, creative part that shows the impact of black metal as a whole culture, which was the key inspiration for creating my own fashion collection, which are drawn, graphic representations.
