Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je istražiti sorpcijska svojstva svile degumirane limunskom kiselinom i dodatnim djelovanjem ultrazvuka. U tu svrhu, provelo se je degumiranje svile klasičnom metodom i s različitom koncentracijom limunske kiseline (15% i 30%) uz dodatak djelovanja ultrazvuka. Nakon degumiranja uzorci svile su bojadisani s kiselim i metalkompleksnim bojilima. Učinkovitost provođenja postupka određena je mjerenjem sorpcijskih i bojadisarskih karakteristika svile, te iscrpljenost bojila, kao i fotografiranjem uzoraka s DINO-LITE USB digitalnim mikroskopom. Uzimajući u obzir dobivene rezultate, može se zaključiti da degumiranjem svile uz pomoć ultrazvuka i limunske kiseline pokazuje potencijal moguće industrijske primjene.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is to investigate dyeing behaviour of silk degummed with citric acid and with additional ultrasound action. For this purpose, silk fibres were degummed by the classic procedure, and with different concentrations of citric acid (15% and 30%) with additional ultrasound action. After degumming, samples were dyed using acid and metalcomplex dyes. The efficiency of the process implementation was determined by measuring absorbance of dyebath and the colour coordinates of dyed samples. Considering the obtained results, it can be concluded that the degumming of silk fibres with ultrasound and citric acid shows potential for possible industrial application. The efficiency of the procedure is determined by measuring the sorption and coloring characteristics of silk, the exhaustion of dyes, as well as photography of samples with a DINO-LITE USB digital microscope.
