Abstract
Wonder Woman prvi je ženski fiktivni superheroj. Njezina pojava u svijetu stripa 1941. godine je na određen način bila revolucionarna. Ubrzo je postala simbol ženske snage i samostalnosti te ravnopravnosti suprotnom spolu. Njezin kostim, od ranih četrdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća pa sve do danas, može se smatrati svojevrsnim dnevnikom feminizma. Svako novo desetljeće sa sobom bi donijelo novi dizajn kostima, a time i nova pitanja. Feminizam, nacionalizam, hiperseksualizacija samo su neke od problematika koje okružuju kostim super junakinje Wonder Woman. Na koji način se svaka od tih stavki može rastumačiti kroz analizu kostima iz stripova, serija i filmova, biti će definirano u ovom radu.
Abstract (english)
Wonder Woman is the first female fictional superhero. Her appearance in the world of comic books in 1941 was, in a way, revolutionary. She soon became a symbol of female strength and independence and of equality to the opposite sex. Her costume, from the early 1940s all the way to today, can be considered a type of diary of feminism. Each new decade introduced a new costume design, and with it, new issues. Feminism, nationalism, and hypersexualization are just some of the issues surrounding the costume of the superheroine Wonder Woman. This paper will show how each of these items can be interpreted through analysis of costumes in comics, series, and movies.
