Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je ispitati stavove studenata o braku i djeci. Istraživanje na kojem se temelji rad provedeno je na uzorku od 207 studenata Učiteljskog, Tehničkog i Građevinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Rijeci. U radu je ispitivana povezanost stavova o braku i djeci s planiranjem vlastitog braka i djece te povezanost religioznosti i stavova o braku i djeci. Rezultati ukazuju na prihvaćenost kohabitacije/zajedničkog predbračnog života kod ispitanika, ali i na pozitivno vrednovanje braka, u kojem se većina ispitanika vidi u budućnosti. Rezultati pokazuju pozitivne stavove o djeci kod ispitanika te planiranje djece u budućnosti, ali i potrebu za zadovoljavanjem određenih preduvjeta (obrazovanje, posao, ekonomska neovisnost) prije zasnivanja obitelji. U radu je također utvrđeno kako je religioznost, odnosno aktivno prakticiranje vjere, povezano sa stavovima ispitanika o braku i alternativnim životnim stilovima.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this thesis is to examine student opinion on marriage and children. The study on which the thesis is based on was conducted on a sample of 207 students of the Faculty of Teacher Education, the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Construction at the University of Rijeka. The thesis assesses the association between opinions on marriage and children and planning one’s own marriage and children, as well as the association between religiosity and opinions on marriage and children. The results indicate the acceptance of pre-marriage cohabitation in the study participants, but also positive opinion of marriage, in which most participants see themselves being in the future. The results show a positive opinion on children in the participants and plans to have children themselves in the future, but also the need to fulfill certain prerequisites (education, employment, economic independence) before establishing a family. The thesis also determines that religiosity, i.e. active participation in a religion, is associated with participant opinions on marriage and alternative lifestyles.
