Abstract Ovo istraživanje provedeno je s ciljem da se istraže jezične i didaktičko-metodičke usklađenosti udžbenika za razrednu nastavu, za nastavne predmete Matematika, Hrvatski jezik i Priroda i društvo, koji su odobreni Pravilnikom o obveznim udžbenicima i pripadajućim dopunskim nastavnim sredstvima s Udžbeničkim standardom (NN, broj 65/13.) koji donosi ministar nadležan za obrazovanje, odnosno Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja. Korpus istraživanja čine udžbenici svih izdavača koji su odobreni od Ministarstva te su analizirani s obzirom na udžbeničke standarde koje isto Ministarstvo propisuje. Za pravopisni dio to je Hrvatski pravopis Instituta za hrvatski jezik i jezikoslovlje iz 2013. godine, gramatika je provjeravana prema Hrvatskoj gramatici Zavoda za hrvatski jezik hrvatskoga filološkog instituta i Školske knjige iz 1997. godine, također je provjereno jesu li svi udžbenici usklađeni prema Anićevu Rječniku hrvatskoga jezika iz 2000. godine. Osnova za provjeru didaktičko-metodičkih zahtjeva je Nastavni plan i program za osnovnu školu iz 2006. godine, koji donosi pod tadašnjim nazivom, Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa. Dobiveni rezultati, na žalost, pokazali su velik broj neusklađenosti s normama hrvatskoga standardnog jezika, također su pronađene mnoge didaktičko-metodičke pogreške. Analizom korpusa utvrđeno je da navedeni udžbenici, nakon lekture i provjere, kako izdavača, tako i Ministarstva, sadrže i dalje veliku količinu pravopisnih, semantičkih (leksičkih), stilskih i didaktičko-metodičkih pogrešaka. Takav podatak nije zabrinjavajući samo na jezičnoj razini, već i na onoj didaktičko-metodičkoj, jer udžbenike najčešće koriste učenici, oni kojima je to često jedini uzor prema kojem usmjeravaju svoje pravilno i kvalitetno izražavanje. Zaključuje se da postoji potreba za osnivanjem posebnog tijela za kvalitetnu jezičnu provjeru udžbenika za osnovnu školu pri jednoj od državnih institucija vezanih uz odgoj i obrazovanje.
Abstract (english) The purpose of this research was to explore linguistic and didactical-methodical compliance of textbooks for primary education (classroom teaching) and curricular subjects of Mathematics, Croatian language, and Science, approved by Ordinance for mandatory textbooks and pertaining supplementary teaching aids with Textbook Standard (Official Gazette No 65/13) brought by the minister in charge for education. i.e. Ministry of science and education. Corpus of research was all textbooks by all publishers approved by the Ministry, thus analyzed according to the Textbook Standard, prescribed by the same Ministry. Therefore, spelling was checked against the 2013 Croatian spelling of the Institute for Croatian language and linguistics, grammar against the 1997 Croatian grammar of the Institute for Croatian language of the Croatian philological institute and Skolska knjiga (School edition, publisher). Also, all textbooks have been checked against 2000 Croatian dictionary by Anic. Baseline for the assessment of didactical-methodical requirements was curriculum for academic year 2006, brought by the Ministry of science, education and sports (title of the ministry at the time). However, findings are sadly showing major uncompliance with norms of Croatian standard language, along with many didactical-methodical errors. Analyses of corpus is showing that stated textbooks, after proofreading and upon verification by the publishers as well as by the Ministry, still contain large numbers of spelling, semantically (lexical), stylistically, and didactical-methodical mistakes. Such an information is worrisome not only on linguistically level, but on the didactical-methodical as well, as textbooks are meant to be used by pupils, and often represent a single source/model, as a basis for accurate and appropriate verbal expressioning. The conclusion is that there is a need for establishing of a special counsel/body for verification of linguistically quality of textbooks for elementary school, adjacent to one of the state institutions related to education and upbringing.
