Abstract U ovom radu cilj je prikazati shvaćanje fenomena dijaloga kod filozofa odgoja i kritičara obrazovanja 20. st. Paula Freirea,opisati na koji način on može biti primijenjen u učionici, te koje su njegove prednosti i nedostatci u konkretnom radu. U prvom dijelu rada kratko je opisan život Paula Freirea, koji je imao veliki utjecaj na njegovo kasnije djelovanje. Odrastanje u siromašnoj četvrti Brazila, problemi sa školovanjem te kasniji rad sa sindikatima, rad na opismenjavanju brazilskih seljaka te odlazak iz zemlje oblikovali su njegov rad kao i najpoznatije djelo, Pedagogiju obespravljenih. Drugi dio rada objašnjava Freireovo shvaćanje dijaloga kao ljudskog fenomena, čija je bit riječ, koja sadrži dvije nerazdvojne dimenzije – razmišljanje i akciju. Zbog tih dimenzija, istinski dijalog kao egzistencijalna potreba čovjeka ima potencijal preobraziti svijet. Također, u ovom dijelu se uspoređuje bankarski sustav obrazovanja i pedagogija oslobođenja. Dok bankarski sustav obrazovanja potiskuje dijalog, on se nalazi u srcu pedagogije oslobođenja koja njeguje humanizaciju, kritičko promišljanje i Freireov koncept osvješćivanja. Treći i posljednji dio rada prelazi na suvremeni govor o dijalogu u obrazovanju. Kako ne postoji mnogo izvora o dijalogu u obrazovanju, rad se osvrće na dvije autorice. Prva se bavi dijalogom u obrazovanju u interkulturnom kontekstu te smatra kako je dijalog temeljna odrednica interkulturno osjetljive škole. Ciljevi takve škole zahtijevaju promjenu načina razmišljanja, odmak od precizno uređenog kurikuluma i kritičku refleksiju. Druga autorica se osvrće na primjenu Freireovog dijaloga u konkretnoj praksi neformalnog obrazovanja u Brazilu te otvara i prostor za kritiku i poboljšanje takve prakse. Freireov koncept dijaloga i njegovo korištenje u obrazovanju ima svoje prednosti i nedostatke, no pokazuje se kao vrijedan daljnjeg proučavanja i primjene.
Abstract (english) The goal of this thesis is to present the understanding of the phenomenonof dialogue in the work of critical pedagogist Paulo Freire, to examine in what way could it be usedin a classroom and to point out its advantages and deficiencies in practice. The first part of the thesis shortly describes the life of Paulo Freire, which had a great influence on the authors later work. Growing up in a poor brazilian neighborhood, difficulties in school, later work with the trade unions and working on literacy programs with brazilian peasants as well as egzile from Brazil grately formed his work, and most famous book Pedagogy of the oppressed. The second part of the thesis explains Freires understanding of dialogue as a human phenomenon. Its essence is the word, which cointains two unseparable dimensions – thinking and action. Because of the mentioned dimensions, true dialogue, which is an existential human need has the potential to transform the world. The second part also compares banking educational system with pedagogoy for liberation. Whilebanking system represses dialogue, it isin the core of pedagogy for liberation which nurtures humanization, critical thinking and Freires concept of conscientization The third and last part of the thesis transfers to a modern discourse on dialogue in education. Because there is a lack of sources on dialogue in education the thesis turns its focus to two authors. The first author speaks of dialoge in an intercultural educational context and considers dialogue is the foundation of a interculturaly sensitive school. The goals of this type of school include a transforming our way of thinking, departure from a precisely arranged curriculum and critical reflection. The second author describes the use of Freires dialogue in the practice of informal education in Brazil. While doing this, the author makes room for critical approach and improvement of this practice. Freires concept of dialoge and its use in education has its advantages and deficiencies, but it is shown as valuable for further study and application.
