Abstract Partnerstvo je odnos između partnera koji ne moraju na jednak način doprinositi tom odnosu, ali upravo trud i doprinos moraju jednako vrednovati (Keyser, 2006 prema Višnjić Jevtić, 2018). Partnerstvo odgojitelja i roditelja poželjan je suradnički odnos i temelj za cjelovit razvoj djeteta, kako u vrtiću tako i kod kuće. Prvo što dijete vidi, spozna i nauči upravo je njegova obitelj i obiteljska sredina, čiji je utjecaj od neizmjerne važnosti. Vrtić i odgojitelji također imaju ozbiljnu zadaću i odgovornost jer većinu vremena dijete provodi upravo u ustanovi. Stoga je kvalitetna i ravnopravna suradnja odgojitelja i roditelja nužna. Međusobnom otvorenom komunikacijom, uz povjerenje i poštovanje, zajedno mogu stvoriti suradnički odnos kojem je primarni cilj upravo dijete i njegova dobrobit. Partnerski odnos koji je kvalitetan, između vrtića i roditelja, daje snažnu poruku djetetu i od neizmjerne je važnosti: „partneri smo, jer si nam važan ti, a dobrobiti partnerstva uživamo svi“ (Ljubetić, 2018, str. 7). U završnom radu definirani su pojmovi obitelj, odgoj, roditeljstvo, vrtić, partnerstvo i suradnja, njihova međusobna povezanost, te utjecaj i značaj partnerskih odnosa odgojno-obrazovne ustanove (točnije odgojitelja) i obitelji (odnosno roditelja) za dobrobit djeteta. Naglasak je stavljen na kompetencije suvremenog odgojitelja, koje su potrebne za iniciranje i ostvarenje kvalitetnog odnosa s roditeljima. Odgojitelj, kao osoba koja radi u odgojno-obrazovnoj ustanovi, svakodnevno surađuje s djecom i njihovim roditeljima. O njegovoj dobroj volji, te najviše stručnosti i razvijenim kompetencijama uvelike ovisi u kojem će se smjeru graditi i razvijati partnerski odnos s roditeljima. To znači da mora ulagati u svoj profesionalni i osobni rast i razvoj da bi mogao pravodobno odgovoriti na zahtjeve suvremene prakse.
Abstract (english) Partnership is a relationship between partners who do not have to contribute equally to that relationship, but they must value the effort and contribution equally (Keyser, 2006 according to Visnjic Jevtic, 2018). The partnership between educators and parents is a desirable collaborative relationship and a foundation for the child's overall development, both in kindergarten and at home. The first thing a child sees, realizes and learns is precisely his family and family environment, whose influence is of immense importance. Kindergarten and educators also have a serious task and responsibility because most of the time the child spends right in the institution. Therefore, good and equal cooperation between educators and parents is essential. Through open communication with one another, with trust and respect, together they can create a collaborative relationship that is the primary goal of the child and his or her well-being. A quality partnership, between kindergarten and parent, gives a strong message to the child and is of immense importance: "we are partners, because you are important to us, and the benefits of the partnership are enjoyed by all" (Ljubetić, 2018, p. 7). The final paper defines the concepts of family, upbringing, parenting, kindergarten, partnership and cooperation, their interconnection, and the influence and importance of partnerships between the educational institution (more precisely the educator) and the family (or parents) for the welfare of the child. Emphasis is placed on the competencies of the modern educator, which are needed to initiate and establish a quality relationship with parents. The educator, as a person working in an educational institution, cooperates with children and their parents on a daily basis. His goodwill, his highest level of expertise and his developed competencies largely depend on the direction in which partnerships with parents will be built and developed. This means that he must invest in his professional and personal growth and development in order to be able to respond to the demands of modern practice in a timely manner.
