Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je procijeniti kvalitetu prehrane i zdravih navika djece izvan predškolske ustanove, odnosno unutar obitelji. Podaci za provedbu istraživanja prikupljeni su putem anketnog upitnika objavljenog u nekoliko grupa na društvenim mrežama čiji su članovi većinom roditelji djece predškolske dobi. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako djeca u prosjeku konzumiraju dovoljno voća, ali nedovoljno povrća te s obzirom na novu piramidu zdrave prehrane, na njihovom jelovniku premalo su zastupljene cjelovite žitarice i riba. Nadalje, većina djece svaki dan konzumira slatkiše, kolače ili čokoladu što nikako nije preporučljivo, a uz to i previše vremena provode ispred različitih ekrana. Unatoč tome, dovoljno vremena provode na otvorenom i baveći se tjelesnom aktivnošću. Iako su rezultati istraživanja prosječni, poneke promjene su svakako poželjne, budući da se zdrave navike stečene u najranijoj dobi odražavaju na budući život.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the diet quality and healthy habits of children outside the preschool, or within the family. Data for the survey were collected through a questionnaire published in several groups on social networks whose members are mostly parents of preschool children. The results of the study show that children on average consume enough fruits but not enough vegetables, and given the new pyramid of healthy eating, whole grains and fish are underrepresented on their menu. Furthermore, most children consume sweets, cakes or chocolate every day, which is by no means advisable, and they spend too much time in front of different screens. Nevertheless, they spend enough time outdoors and doing physical activity. Although the survey results are average, some changes are certainly desirable, since healthy habits acquired at an early age reflect on future life.
