Abstract
Glas je osnovno sredstvo komunikacije, a kod pjevača ono ima ulogu instrumenta. Kako bi pjevač optimalno koristio svoj glas nužno bi trebao poznavati vokalnu tehniku i higijenu glasa. Vokalna higijena uključuje općenito zdrave navike življenja koje su dobre, kako za organizam općenito, tako i za sam glas. Vokalna tehnika podrazumijeva poznavanje građe vokalnog aparata. Tu spadaju respiratorna, fonatorna i reznonantna funkcija vokalnog instrumenta – glasa. Poznavanje glasa nije privilegija samo školovanih i klasičnih pjevača, već je nužna i kod pjevača alternativne glazbe. Alternativna glazba odlikuje se izvjesnom žestinom i netipičnim pristupom pjevanju i strukturi pjesama. Cilj rada je bio ispitati pjevače alternativnih bendova o poznavanju vokalne tehnike, primjeni iste kod njih te negativnim i pozitivnim ponašanjima koji utječu na glas. Analizom pet intervjua, koji su provedeni u lipnju 2020. zaključilo se kako pjevači u alternativnim bendovima vode izrazitu brigu o zdravlju glasa isto kao i pjevači drugih glazbenih žanrova.
Abstract (english)
The human voice is the basic means of communication, and for singers, it has the role of an instrument. In order for a singer to make optimal use of his voice, he must thoroughly know the vocal technique and practice hygiene of the voice. Vocal hygiene includes generally healthy living habits that are good, both for the body in general and for the voice itself. The vocal technique implies knowledge of the structure of the vocal apparatus. These include the respiratory, phonatory, and resonant function of the vocal instrument - the voice. Knowing the voice is not only the privilege of educated and classical singers, but it is also necessary for singers of alternative music. Alternative music is characterized by intensity and an unorthodox approach to singing and the structure of songs. The aim of the study was to examine the singers of alternative bands about their knowledge of vocal technique, their application of it, and negative and positive behaviors that affect the voice. An analysis of five interviews, conducted in June 2020, concluded that singers in alternative bands take strong care of their voice health just as much as singers of other music genres.
