Abstract
Ovaj rad predstavlja istraživanja koja se bave temom o utjecaju tjelesne aktivnosti na efikasnost rješavanja matematičkih zadataka. U radu se obrazlaže zašto tjelesna aktivnost blagotvorno djeluje na kognitivne procese, te se opisuje utjecaj tjelesne aktivnosti na mozak i njegovu funkciju. Današnji život prepun tehnologije ograničava tjelesnu aktivnost ljudi, a ponajviše djece. Zato je važno da se ukaže na ulogu tjelesne aktivnosti na cjelokupno zdravlje čovjeka. Brojna istraživanja navedena u radu ukazuju na utjecaj tjelesne aktivnosti na akademski uspjeh učenika. Uspješno rješavanje matematičkih zadataka može biti potaknuto tjelesnom aktivnošću. U istraživanjima koja su opisana u radu bile su uključene brojne varijable i različiti pristupi, no utjecaj tjelesne aktivnosti na kogniciju nije posve razjašnjen Jedan od razloga su individualne razlike pojedinaca te složeni procesi koji su odgovorni za cjelokupno funkcioniranje čovjeka.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents research that addresses the impact of physical activity on the effectiveness in mathematical problems solving. It explains why physical activity has a beneficial effect on cognitive processes, and in particular discusses the impact of physical activity on the brain and its function. Life today is full of technology that limits the physical activity of people, especially children. That is why it is important to emphasize the role of physical activity on a person’s overall health. Many of quoted studies demonstrate the impact of physical activity on students academic achievement. The effectivenes in mathematical problems solving is also influenced by physical activity. In quoted research many different variables and research approaches were used, but influence of the physical activity on cognition are not yet fully understood. One of the reasons are individual differences among the individuals and complex processes responsible for overall human functioning.
