Abstract Današnji tehnološki napredak te potreba uvođenja inovacija u obrazovni sustav bila je inspiracija za odabir teme ovog diplomskog rada. Tema diplomskog rada su edukativni roboti i njihova primjena u obrazovanju. Kroz uvod naglašena je važnost uvođenja takvih nastavnih pomagala u sam obrazovni sustav. Budući da se svijet mijenja, javlja se potreba i za promjenom i reformom obrazovnog sustava, što se trenutno događa i u Republici Hrvatskoj. Upravo iz tog razloga valjalo bi proučiti što je sve zapisano i definirano kurikulumom nastavnog predmeta Informatika, koje su inovativne ideje ponuđene na ovom području te koje su uloge učitelja, a koje učenika u ovom reformiranom obrazovnom sustavu. Upravo je to opisano u drugom poglavlju ovog rada. Također, vrlo je važno proučiti utjecaj i važnost računalnog razmišljanja i programiranja za razvoj apstraktnog mišljenja kod djece što je tema trećeg poglavlja. U četvrtom poglavlju radi se o robotima općenito, o važnosti razumijevanja načina i ubrzanosti razvijanja umjetne inteligencije, razlozima za korištenje robota i provođenje robotske edukacije u obrazovanju. Projekt STEM vrlo je važan kada je riječ u reformi obrazovanja u tehnološkom smjeru. U STEM projektu naglasak je stavljen na obrazovanje pojedinaca budućnosti, odnosno populacije koja će u budućnosti moći s lakoćom i timskim radom uspješno rješavati sve prepreke i izazove. O tome je riječ u petom poglavlju. Nakon što je razrađena sva teorija potrebna za razumijevanje važnosti uvođenja edukativnih robota u obrazovanju, predstavljeni su i roboti koji su u ovo vrijeme nekako najviše prihvaćeni. U šestom poglavlju opisan je mBot i mogućnost njegove primjene u obrazovanju, a u sedmom poglavlju opisan je BBC micro:bit. Diplomski je rad zaokružen zaključkom i mišljenjem autora o predstavljenoj temi.
Abstract (english) Today's technological advances and the need to introduce innovations into the education system have been the inspiration for choosing the topic of this thesis. The topic of this graduate thesis is educational robots and their application in education. The introduction emphasizes the importance of introducing such teaching aids into the education system itself. As the world changes, there is also a need for change and reform of the education system, which is currently happening in the Republic of Croatia. For that reason, it is important to ponder everything written and defined in the IT curriculum, what innovative ideas have been offered in this field, what are the roles of teachers and what are the roles of students in this reformed education system. This is exactly what is described in the second chapter of this thesis. It is also very important to study the impact and importance of computational thinking and programming for the development of abstract thinking in children, which is the topic of Chapter Three. Chapter Four deals with robots in general, the importance of understanding the ways and speeds of developing artificial intelligence, the reasons for using robots and conducting robotics education in education. The STEM project is very important when it comes to technology education reform. In the STEM project, the emphasis is placed on educating individuals of the future, that is, populations that will be able to successfully tackle all obstacles and challenges in the future with ease and teamwork. This is discussed in Chapter Five. After elaborating on all the theory needed to understand the importance of introducing educational robots in education, the robots that are somehow most accepted at this time are presented. The sixth chapter describes mBot and its potential for use in education and the seventh chapter describes the BBC micro: bit. The thesis is completed by the conclusion and opinion of the author in the presented topic.
