Creativity in children can be encouraged in many ways, and it presents a significant factor in the education process. In recent times, there has been a rise in different types of therapy that use music in order to establish a connection with a person, while also serving as an effective treatment method. Among the most famous are the Mozart effect, Tomatis method, Orff, sound therapy, Musica medica. Using different kinds of music can have an effect on mental, but also on a number of physical functions. The Mozart effect, a well-known method of using Mozart’s music for therapeutic purposes, has been in use for a long time. Music therapy is a method which uses music for rehabilitation and psychotherapy (Škrbina, 2013). There have been many studies dealing with the effect music has on individuals. Children listening to music and playing different instruments activate nearly all their senses, which in turn enriches their emotional perception and cognitive abilities. Music is also an important factor in upbringing because it contributes to a child’s development and creativity in all aspects.
