This work introduces the Brain Gym method and the efficiency of its application in work with children. Brain Gym is a program of simple movements that positively affect cognitive, socio-emotional, motor development and communication development. The aim of this paper is to show how we can use the activities of Brain Gym on a daily basis in kindergarten. The program helps children in the learning process by acting on the integration of mind and body. By applying specially designed Brain Gym movements, the child's potential for learning is stimulated and overall development is promoted and learning difficulties are prevented. It helps to reactivate approaches to lost brain function and establish neural connections that were not established at an earlier age. Coordinated functioning of all areas of the brain and the body and mind system in general leads to improvement. Various studies have shown the positive effects of Brain Gym and an increasing number of scientists are emphasizing the importance of the connection between movement and cognitive functions. In Croatia, the Brain Gym program is implemented in several kindergartens and as help in solving educational difficulties.
