In a time where teachers are confronted with multiple changes in education and require new competencies, platform eTwinning provides a place where teachers all over Europe can safely cooperate. Teachers constantly tend to perfect and improve their abilities in order to make teaching as interesting as possible for their pupils. As a great example of fulfilling the needs in their development, future teachers are introduced to eTwinning through the Teacher Training Initiative (TTI) promoted by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMPEU). The main objective of this research is to describe the development of eTwinning and establish quality of the programme designed to present eTwinning to future teachers, i.e. students of teaching faculty who have participated in the course eTwinning and teaching in the academic year 2019/2020. eTwinning, as a great example of project-based learning, encourages pupils into cooperating and tolerating others as well as the acquisition of intercultural competences. The research is carried out on a sample of 22 future teachers, including 21 female students and 1 male student, attending their 4th and 5th year of learning on The Faculty of Teacher Education at the University of Zagreb. Another objective of this research was to explore the efficacy rate of implementing eTwinning and Teacher Training Initiative in the Republic of Croatia from the perspective of an eTwinning ambassador, Nataša Ljubić Klemše, and Senior Advisors in the Department for General Education from the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, Ana Pavlić and Ana Perišić, as well as to provide any further plans for improvement of the platform.
