Abstract Glavna djetetova aktivnost tijekom djetinjstva je igra.
Igra omogućuje socijalni, emocionalni, tjelesni i spoznajni
razvoj.
Također iskušava vlastite sposobnosti, a ponavljajući ih usavršava i uči neke nove. Važnu
ulogu u cjelokupnom razvoju djeteta imaju roditelji i odgojitelji, okruženje u kojem dijete živi
i odrasta te adekvatno opremljen prostor i igračke. Roditelji i odgojitelji trebaju djetetu
omogućuju razvitak motoričkih, funkcionalnih, morfoloških sposobnosti i zadaća, usvajanje
novih i usavršavanje postojećih motoričkih znanja i mogućnosti. Dijele se na biotičke
(spontane) igre, igre pretvaranja, igre stvaranja, igre s jednostavnim pravilima i igre sa
složenim pravilima.
Abstract (english) A child’s main activity during childhood is play. It cannot be said that the only function of
play is fun because a child also progresses cognitively. The game enables social, emotional,
physical and cognitive development. It is the best, most interesting and easiest method for a
child to learn and improve some important things that will be useful to it throughout its life
and that will affect its further growth and development. Through play, the child gets to know
the environment which surrounds it and becomes self-aware. It also tests its own abilities and
by repeating them it perfects and learns some new ones. Parents and educators, the
environment in which the child lives and grows up and adequately equipped space and toys
play an important role in the overall development of the child. Parents and educators should
provide the child with enough time to play and be involved in it, actively encouraging it to
develop in all segments. The task of the educator is to develop the child's abilities to the
highest level. In order for this to succeed, a competent educator is needed, who will give
children the necessary freedom and the opportunity to learn something new, to move and
solve problems they encounter. Each child is special in their own way. Through play, the
child develops only in a positive manner. It is important to emphasize that a crucial element of
children's play is physical activity. This mostly applies to kinesiological games in which the
child moves. Kinesiological games are important because they enable the development of
motor, functional, morphological abilities and tasks, the adoption of new and the
improvement of existing motor knowledge and abilities. They are divided into biotic
(spontaneous) games, transformation games, creation games, games with simple rules and
games with complex rules.
