Prvi i najvažniji motiv roditelja da uključi dijete u organiziranu kineziološku aktivnost jest omogućiti mu svestran psihofizički razvoj i ojačati i poboljšati njegovo zdravlje.
Abstract (english) Regular childrens play based on physical activity, in a park or in kindergarden is sufficient for a childs proper development during their preschool age. It is assumed that a preschool child spends their day mostly active, having no obligations such as school or a job, so it is reccomended that a child of this age should not rest for more than an hour and should participate in organised kinesiological activities for 30 to 60 minutes a day. Therefore, it is important for parents to be wiling with their child in physical activities after kindergarden by spending their free time actively so that the child does not spend the rest of their day passively, for example watching TV, or playing games on their mobile phones. However, it is important to ensure that the child has enough time for rest and muscle and body recovery from exertion after each activity. It is crucial to educate children to choose the kinesiological activity that suits them best and that they like the most, to provide good conditions for them to perform the activity, and to let them judge for themselves how seriously they want to participate in it. Family is an important factor in a childs social development. A childs body needs movement and activity to develop properly and to acquire the habit of exercising, but adults play a crucial role in supporting and encouraging kinesiological activity. Parents have a strong influence on childerns motivation to participate in sports and an important role when choosin and enrolling in kinesiological activities. The first and the most important motive for enrolling children in organised kinesiological activities for parents is to provide them with opportunities for comprehensive psychophysical development and and health improvement. In the past children have participated in kinesiological activities in their backyards and childrens playgrounds, but nowadays social changes and parents fears for childrens safety resulted in greater involvement in organised sports clubs. Participation in an age appropriate organised kinesiological activity can instill some valuable qualities in a young person and have an exceptionally beneficial effect on their development. This paper will introduce the concept of kinesiology and kinesiological activity, the characteristics of the modern family, and of modern parenting. The emphasis of this paper is on the influence of the parents lifestyle on the childs involvement in kinesiological activity. At the same time, it will present the educational goals, dimensions and styles used by parents and how each style affects the child and his development. Finally, it will present the results of the conducted research.
