Abstract Krajem 2019. godine pojavila se globalna pandemija uzrokovana COVID-om-19.
dobrobit učenika i školskih djelatnika.
Abstract (english) Towards the end of 2019, we have witnessed the spread of COVID-19, a global pandemic caused by the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.. The whole world found itself in public health emergency situation that has affected many social systems. In order to restrict the number of infected people, various measures of social distancing, including restrictions on movement and working from home, have been introduced. Numerous states opted for a temporary closure of schools for the benefit of students, teachers and school staff. However, the education process could not be discontinued. It was necessary to find a swift alternative solution and continue teaching. Very soon, most countries, including the Republic of Croatia, transitioned to a new form of teaching - distance teaching and learning. Since before this crisis there was no specific teaching methodology for such a form of teaching, the transition posed a great challenge for teachers, students and even parents. Therefore, in July 2020, the Ministry of Science and Education adopted a document entitled the Action
plan for the implementation of distance learning for the school year 2020/2021. Students, teachers and parents have found themselves in new circumstances that required quick adjustment. This included learning how to use the information and communication technology, various digital tools, applications and platforms. That was a very stressful period, not only because of the existing threat posed by the virus, but also because of the sudden change in all aspects of life. People’s lives have become virtual. The situation posed a great challenge for all - teachers, students and parents. They all needed to be more resourceful than ever. Unpreparedness for such working conditions, lack of social interaction and fear of the
outcome of the pandemic have caused stress for most people, and teachers, students and their parents were not an exception.
